Fun and Friendly Entertaining:
Potluck Parties are fun for everyone and no two parties are the same. This form of entertaining has been around for hundreds if not thousands of year and the word “potluck” has been in the Webster’s Dictionary since 1542.
Always popular with church and community groups it is also a terrific formula for home entertaining , group picnics, tailgaiting, beach parties or anywhere groups gather to share a meal and socialize. Hosting a luncheon or dinner party a great way to not only share the expense, but allow invited guests to be a co-host. Most folks like to cook and relax with family and friends however with busy lives don’t have the time, or energy, to prepare an entire meal for a crowd. Food is love. Potluck gatherings allow us to eat, socialize, share the love and the fun.
Plan a Party Checklist:
When: Date ~ Start time and End time
Where: Host address
Who: Host/Coordinator, Co-Hosts and/or guests ( I think family/friends who contribute to a party are all Hosts )
What: Theme of party
Menu:
The Host can assign recipes and create the menu of let the Co-Hosts bring one of their own. Party goers sign up for a dish/course according the party theme. EMail is an easy way to let all know who is bringing what dish. By creating a group, in your email address book, everyone can email the entire group and keep up to date with the party planning.
